Grass Killers....😠😠😠

I get this sick feeling when I see this at the club... why oh why do people feel they have the right to go right out on the course when it is obviously covered in frost?? Do they not know that with each and every step they take they are killing the grass?? Do they not care? Is it an apethy because it's not their course, it's not their grass they are killing?? I try and stop as many people as possible when I see it but sometimes I just don't see them or am maybe busy with something else...but the response of people is amazing - they 9 out 10 times understand that they are actrually killing the grass and that they understand that we don't want them taking their nightly walks upon the course when it's covered in frost... My question is always 'If you know that you killing the grass with each step, why are you doing it...??'

The answers I get are as equally amazing - because for the most part the people have no sign of remorse, almost never say sorry and seem to be actually mad at me for telling them to get off the grass and use the paths or roads that are just meters from where they are killing the very grass they are walking on... Unreal... just unreal.

I guess nothing should surprise me anymore and I guess I shouldn't get upset but I do and I just hope people would think about all the members who actually pay a good amount of money to have a course in good shape come spring - one without footprints of dead grass all over the place.

People just don't care when it's not theirs and that in and of itself is scary I think. Grass Killers stay away - PLEASE!!!!!
