Here you have the team, I might have posted a picture of them earlier, on a post or something, anyway here is a picture of the team. A great group of kids. We are hoping to get some summer practice in, today is the last day for them to play indoors until the end of August. I wonder if it's possible to get some funding in regards to building a gym just for hoops? We saw some neat gyms in Sweden, and I remember 'just a few' that I've played in and the club needs it, I wonder if the basketball federation can help with that in some way? Is the chance big for someone to help? Probably not, but we have to keep hoping and all that good stuff. Would be cool and the sport of basketball would only grow by leaps and bounds in the Fredrikstad area, after having worked at 5 different clubs here in Norway, this one and Asker were real well run, Halden was a little dicey the first year, but got much better as well. I can't say it enough how much I'm enjoying the change from golf to hoops in the regards to teaching/working with young people through the vehicle of sports. Like I've stated a bunch of times, there is a huge difference in the work ethic and respect given with in the hoop club, and that has always been that way. Strange that the golf pro here in Norway is looked upon like a second hand person, I have my thoughts about all this as well, someplace, on some post somewhere, I'm sure for those interested can find something I've written. Got to get some sleep now, worked two night shifts in a row and we are maybe going to sleep out in the tent tonight, got to check the weather forcast for the next few days, the little guy is buggin me about taking a tent tour.... take care all.
