Why, what and where?

Is it here? Is this the place we find it? Someplace within the deep fjords of our minds? What is it that controls it? Where does one get the control of it? Can it be unlocked? Is the soul it? Is the soul there in our mind ?Or is the soul a realm of the heart? Maybe a combo of both? Something tells me that we are not using the vast potential of it. I know of all the so called studies about how many % this, and how many % that... science, brain science, the study of the brain, I wonder what a brain surgon would say. I don't know any, plus, if I can live out the remainder of my life and atually never have to meet one, well, I'll be very, very blessed and in some ways lucky. Can someone's amount of 'bad luck' result somehow, someway, into that person at some point giving in to the idea of it all, good and bad luck, the whole idea of luck, package it all up and throw it out, all of it, toghether? Throw it out and start to think of the why are we here? What are we doing? Where are we going? Maybe forgetting for a moment this idea of fate, planned futures reached and unreached, people, ideas, things loved and lost, to life, to life itself, is this something we can do a humans? Surrender to the facts? The fact that must be, and that is the truth of it all, we do only have one life, if it ends here on this planet, never to see the light of the sun, moon and stars again, my life, her life, his life, their life, everones life... people who have died and come back ALL pretty much the same things, from all different places and cultures around the world, they ALL talk about the light. What ever that is, that must be the next step, maybe that's where we'll find the answers, all of them, at the same time. Or, maybe it will be the start of something new, something that will give more questions than answers? God only knows, a typical and often used phrase for people that believe the bible god and those who don't, or those of us who just don't know. The common use of the phrase might tell us something about the common knowledge that we really don't know, we think we know, and some people are willing to die for thinking they know, I know that we are all going to die someday, and when we do, we'll find out then and that's fine with me, I'm in no rush or need to know actually and I know for sure, I like not knowing. Imagne if we did know for certain, and we knew for certain that the after life was really heaven, heaven for everyone, my question I guess is, why would this exsistance be nessassary at all?? If anyone out there can anwser this, or give suggestions or comments, please do so! Whew, that was a lot... Sometimes that happens ,-)
