Feelings...
Feelings. Yeah feelings. Strange things those feelings huh? Looking forward to something can be a good thing, it can also be disturbing for some too, and all the while we people deal with them pretty good, don't we? I think so. We are amazing creatures when we want to be, having good feelings for things in general, everyday things, changing a dirty diaper, washing the kitchen, cleaning the bathroom, whatever, you get my drift? Funny how if one really has a goal, then how much easier it is to have these good feelings and feel good about ourselves. Being successful in something, anything really, serious, it can be as simple as that, find something you want to achieve, learn, experience, whatever the case maybe be. My goal for the next four weeks is to relax, takes it easy, have some laughs and relax some more! Good feelings..... Take care everyone!

G95 - Goteberg Basketball Festival
Here are the boys in Sweden. Played well, even though the record for the 4 days was 1-3 and all the kids learned a bunch. Not much more to add here on the team or club. Check out the basketball coaching page on the right side of this page for more info about the team/club. Nothing else really happening here, keeping busy with family, job, free time and more or less living life just like most others. I have come to the conclusion that turning down the offer at the golf club was one of the best choices I've ever made. Even though the way all that happend, and the fact that I could have sued the golf club for a lot, I decided to leave it where it was and move on. It would be like sueing your neighbor, many members live here in hte area and being that I'm going to live here for the majority of my life I decided not to sue. But I should have. That is a choice that I wish I could do over, but scince there are no do overs, I just have to live with it and that's fine. The people involved know what the truth is and maybe that's why they gave me a free membership last season. Who knows. Bla bla bla... I know. Take care and enjoy the weather this time of year, or for us in the northern hemisphere anyway.... May 12, 2010
Ya ya... have worked a night shift... only one this week. That makes it easy though. Looking forward to the next few days, the basketbal festival is one of the biggest in europe and the guys are really looking forward to the trip. Nothing really happening otherwise, no golf for me anyway, Leon and I were out yesterday and played "at his golf course" which is our yard.. funny guy. He does have a flag and hole out there and we think it's a golf course da. Here's another picture of the kids, I am a lucky man. I might not be posting for a number of days, it all depends on if I can get an net connection. Take care everyone and take it easy.

"Minste Man"
Got all the pictures we took for a few years ago. Here's one when Leon was just a handful, meaning he was not very big da. We were out at the club three days in a row putting, we have found a few fun games that we both enjoy and are a little good for me too .-) He's getting better at judging the distance better, he actually made two putts of say 4-5 meters back to back... Funny, because I know he's trying to make it and in some degree he's trying his best also, at almost three years, hmm a little strange actually. Maybe there are kids that are so interested in something but this is a little strange for me. I of course think it's fun that he likes it, but I just hope people don't think I am making him do it or something, certainly there are not people so stupid living huh? You'd be surprised I guess... Anyway, I'll try and post a new picture now and then for the people who are interested in that kind of stuff. I have found that for some of my friends and players/students that the more they get to know me the better I am able to help them achieve whatever the goal might be. Sometimes I have friends that say or ask me if I think it's dangerous to have so much out on the public web or in other words are there people who might want to use the info published here to hurt me or my family?? Good question and I don't really know the answer. I have said it many times, I write this blog most for myself and my good friends, players/students, and that's it. There's not that many people visiting here really, in the scheme of things it's a 'drop in the ocean' I think. Bla bla bla i know....

Uncle Johnny
Leon and I were at the golf club today, met an older gentleman that know a little on the putting green and Leon just started putting with him, not disturbing him at all, but just hanging around him putting beside him to another hole. The man's name is Johnny and Leon was calling him Uncle Johnny, I was laughing pretty hard when I heard that one. Because I had mentioned the other day something about my uncle just in passing and have not mentioned it again. Have not heard him say it either, funny, and amazing actually. He was also saying "annanas" which is pianapple, when he missed his putts. What a funny guy. He just loves putting, we were out there for 2 hours and he did NOT want to go home. He made two 12 footers back to back from the same place, meaning, beacuse he only gets to use one ball, means that he made the first, thought about it, goes back to the same spot, makes it, goes back, putts, and missed the third... For a little guy not even 3 years old, he's pretty cool and just pulls the trigger on the putts, he looks once at the hole and "pop" goes the ball and him running along behind... he loves to play. Amanda is in Raade with some school thing. Ya ya.. Nothing really happening... Watching the players, Tiger -1 today, Phil is just getting started... better go and check out Phil "the thrill"-- Take it easy everyone and I hope the weekend brings you all that you wish.

Rory....
It was great to se this young man take it to the big boys this past weekend, he's done it b4 and will certainly do it again. Some people are calling him the next Tiger and things like that, I have never really liked doing that, no matter what the sport is, let people stand for themselves and lwt the people compare when they pass their way o to the next life. Results are the best way to compare in golf anyway. Gotta put the little one to bed now and then it's bball practice. Two more practices, the Sweden tournament and we are done for this season. Looking forward to some weeks free and then getting back at it with the hoopsters. Later for now....

For those interested - Sample of basketball blog
Here's just a sample of the latest post on the basketbball blog.
Hoopsters: Good work tonight. It's fun to see you all try and learn new things and try different drills. The drills we do as far as shooting goes you can use them on your own this summer break to work on your individual offensive game. Remember one of the most improtant keys is to first accomplish the drill correctly and then build up the speed in which you do the drill, first your body and muscles must learn the different movements and then it takes time for them to do that "without thinking" - They just do it after a given time but doing drills 100% and taking your time to let your body get used to the new things is alpha o mega.
Yadagit dere... just two more practices and theTournament/Festival in Sweden and the season will be offically 'in the books". BUT that just means that the start of summer training is just around the corner and like I've stated many times, just think about Michael Jordan, he didn't make his high school team his freshman year, but he worked very hard during the summer and with in a couple years he was the best player in the state and of course we all know what he went on to do after that... Never say never and remember it's you that decide how much you will improve, I will help you all of course, but it's you, each and everyone of you that has to make the choice to put in the hard work or not, that is the one thing I cannot do for you, ikke sant... Anyway, I'm babbling on hear... take care, eat and drink the good stuff and I'll see you all on Wen. Coach Kev.
For those intereated here's an article about my college coach, he was the NCAA Dic 1 Coach of the Year in 1978 at the University of San Francisco:

Smooshing
Can never get enough of the cheek of the minste gutt. He's a real joy to be around and we have a blast throughout the day. I feel real blessed or lucky to have the chance to spend so much time with him and Amanda. We played some golf today and it was the first time he got the ball in the air with his little Ping 9 iron, it ws so fun to watch him hit shot after shot about 2-3 feet off the ground and they went about, say, 30-40 yards, which is just a guess because theballs end up bouncing into the woods.. ha ha.. he loves it and that's the amazing thing. He plays golf a lot, whether it's indoors or out, he's playing or thinking about playing, talking about it, funny little golfer. Being honest too, I have not pushed him in he least. He's just a little golfing nut. Amanda
She actually let me take a picture and that was nice for a change.... actually she put her hand up first and I have that picture too. Funny girl. She told me a few days ago that she was serious about playing some hoops next season. I of course have nothing against it ,-)We, or I mean to say I'm sure I have written about this on an earlier post, but Amanda was shooting the ball pretty good. I think about all the times I have seen her laying in the couch shooting a ball into the air just like I do, and it was any kind of ball, all shapes and sizes. Funny how some things just rub off on your kids. I really need to look into getting a hoop for in front of the house. That would be fun. Anyway, was nice to get a recent picture of the girl on the blog, I always enjo looking back at the pictures and reading the posts... ya ya..
